Ending our transatlantic journey in Rotterdam

When we woke up at 6:30 am, our ship was already docked in Rotterdam.

It was time to say goodbye to the Lido for our last breakfast and we had celebrated the crew in the Dining Room the night before. Our waiters Lukman and Herru have been excellent as always on Holland America cruises.

A few days earlier, all members of Nieuw Statendam were also applauded for their services along this cruise.

We enjoyed this Northern Atlantic itinerary with new to us places but we should have packed gloves in addition to our wind jackets and hats! Except in Bermuda, we experienced chilly if not windy conditions. But this was April Spring weather in Northern Europe after all.

Time to explore the city of Rotterdam…
